Danielle Berryman
Danielle Berryman is a journalist, writer and editor and was director of the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival for three years.
Her micro memoir stories have been published in the WA anthology Ourselves (2024, Night Parrot Press); Heather Locke’s Arts Connecting Margaret River (2024); Readers Digest Australia; and online. Her story about miscarriage placed second in the KSP Non-Fiction competition (2018).
A foundation volunteer with Fremantle community radio and Radio Lollipop Perth, she has made podcasts for the Fellowship of Australian Writers WA and served on the FAWWA committee. Danielle’s freelance work has appeared in local and national magazines.
Roger Garwood
Roger Garwood is a photojournalist whose work has appeared in National Geographic, The Sunday Times (London), Time, Newsweek, Stern and many European and Australian magazines.
His photographs are in the collections of The National Library, The Australian National Gallery, The National Gallery of Victoria, The Art Gallery of Western Australia, The State Library of Western Australian and private collections.
With Trish Ainslie he published several books – including Off Like Flies, Chook on Sundays and Til She Dropped Her Strides – which recorded traditional Australian lifestyles.
He is a Fellow of The Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation.
